A man in Michigan, Saul Lucio-Ipina, pleaded no contest to torture charges after his ex-wife gave emotional testimony detailing how he electrocuted and subjected her to horrific abuse. The incidents, which occurred in their basement, involved forcing her to stand on a bucket with a rope around her neck. She slipped off the bucket and hung in the air before being taken down by her husband. In a separate incident two months later, she was tied up and electrocuted with jumper cables after being forced into a children's swing that hung from the ceiling.
