In a distressing development in Washington state, 34-year-old Dwayne Breis Robinson faces first-degree murder charges for the alleged premeditated killing of his sister, 36-year-old Diane Robinson. The incident occurred at their shared residence in the Vancouver area, where Dwayne is accused of fatally stabbing Diane multiple times in the chest as she was eating in the kitchen. The Clark County Sheriff's Office revealed that Dwayne believed his sister had been poisoning him for years, attributing this belief to his decision to commit the brutal act.

According to reports, Dwayne then proceeded to finish the food his sister had been eating, convinced that it was not tainted. He admitted to living with Diane's body for several days after the stabbing, before the grim reality of her death was discovered by her ex-husband, Kenneth Leachman, who became concerned after not hearing from her. Upon learning of his sister's violent death from Dwayne himself, Kenneth promptly contacted authorities.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered Diane's lifeless body in the kitchen, covered with a blanket that Dwayne had placed over her intentionally. The defense attorney for Dwayne requested a competency hearing, suggesting that his belief in his sister's poisoning was unfounded. Dwayne reportedly expressed feeling depressed and upset over this perceived campaign of poisoning, leading to the tragic outcome.

Jail records indicate that Dwayne has been incarcerated in Clark County without bond since his arrest one week ago. He is set to appear in court on October 9th for the first-degree murder case. This harrowing incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of unchecked paranoia and underscores the critical need for mental health awareness and support in our communities.
