A devastating update has emerged in the case of Briana Winston, a 23-year-old mother of a 4-year-old, who vanished six weeks ago. It was on April 1 that Winston's family discovered her apartment had been completely cleared out by her live-in boyfriend, Michale Edwards, prompting them to report her missing. Further inquiries revealed that Winston had not been seen at her job since March 17, leading investigators to believe she disappeared in the early hours of that day.

Although her remains have not been located, Clayton County police are now treating the case as a homicide based on substantial evidence suggesting Winston's demise. Michale Edwards, along with his wife Brienna Phillips-Edwards, has been identified as persons of interest in the ongoing investigation. Family members disclosed that Winston had a tumultuous relationship with her boyfriend, underscoring the challenges she may have faced.

Concerns have been raised about the well-being of Winston's 4-year-old daughter, who is reportedly in the care of her father. Anyone who possesses information relevant to Briana Winston's disappearance is urged to contact investigators at 770-477-3747. Our hearts go out to her family and loved ones during this distressing time as they seek answers and closure.
