FOX 11 obtained a rare glimpse inside the vehicle that deputies have dubbed a "rape dungeon on wheels," following the apprehension of Eduardo Sarabia, a man described as a serial rapist, in the San Gabriel Mountains. The van, described as being "rigged for rape," was a chilling sight, containing a disturbing array of items including condoms, ropes, bungees, children's toys, multiple cell phones, hard drives, and more.

Deputies uncovered a metal partition at the back of the van, equipped with a locked door from the outside and a grimy, worn mattress, believed to be where Sarabia confined his victims during heinous acts. A recent operation led to the rescue of a 26-year-old woman and the arrest of Sarabia on charges of forcible rape.

Sarabia reportedly lured victims by offering rides under the guise of camping in the mountains, before leading them to a remote location off mile marker 21 on Highway 39, where cell phone signals were unavailable. Authorities suspect that the elaborate setup of the van suggests the possibility of additional victims.

Given the severity of the situation, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department urges anyone with relevant information to come forward. This case is a stark reminder of the importance of vigilance and swift action in preventing such atrocities.
