Two people have been arrested in connection with a shooting incident that took place in South Memphis on Thursday night. Je'On Davis, 42, has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of a woman, while 20-year-old Destiney Plummer faces charges of shooting at Davis after he allegedly shot her mother.
The shooting occurred on Quinn Avenue near South Parkway East and Wilson Street, with reports of three individuals being shot, including two women and a girl. Tragically, the woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene, while the girl was hospitalized with critical injuries.
