The Osceola County Sheriffโs Officeย arrested a Kissimmeeย couple in 2024ย on charges of child abuseย and failure to reportย abuse following a disturbing incident on December 7. Investigators, alongside the Department of Children and Families, revealed that Lance Rachelย became enraged over a couch cushionย being out of place and accused the victim of lying.
Rachel then subjected the child to 28 minutes of verbal and physical abuse, screaming obscenities, hitting the child over 50 times with a belt, and even chokingย the victim. Authorities also reported that Rachel threatened to break the childโs jawย during the attack.
Some of the abuse was captured by in-home surveillance cameras which was viewed by Kimbery who admitted that Lance actions were stated as reported in the arrested warrant viewed by Savage RoyalT Ent. ions.
Rachelโs wife, Kimberly Rachel, was arrested for failure to reportย the abuse.
Lance Rachel now faces charges of aggravated child abuseย and battery by strangulation.
