Riverside, CA – A 16-year-old pregnant girl was tragically struck and killed after confronting a 19-year-old man over his illegal relationship with her underage sister, authorities say. The suspect, Issac Blackhorse Garcia, allegedly had an ongoing sexual relationship with the victim's younger sister, which led to the deadly altercation. On February 2, after dropping the younger sister off at home, Garcia was approached by the victim and other family members, who confronted him about his actions. During the exchange, tensions escalated, and Garcia suddenly sped away, fatally hitting the pregnant teen with his vehicle.
A Family's Nightmare Caught on Camera
The tragic moment was captured on a neighbor's doorbell camera, showing the victim's family rushing to her side in distress. "There was a car that flew fast through here," neighbor Miriam Betamen told KABC. "We saw a girl on the street, just lying flat." Police arrived at 11:45 p.m. and found the teen severely injured. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors managed to deliver her baby, who remains in critical condition.

As detectives investigated, they uncovered Garcia's unlawful relationship with the victim's younger sister. Authorities now believe this confrontation was the motive behind the deadly act.
