The Baton Rouge Police Department has obtained an arrest warrant for 20-year-old Terryon Ishmael Thomas, known as "Mr.Prada" on TikTok, in connection with the homicide of 69-year-old Baton Rouge therapist William Nicholas “Nick” Abraham. Abraham's body was found wrapped in a tarp and discarded in a ditch along Highway 51 between Fluker and the Village of Tangipahoa.
Surveillance footage from a store in the Juban Crossing area captured images of Thomas, believed to be the last person seen driving Abraham's vehicle. When authorities attempted to stop the stolen vehicle in Baton Rouge, the driver, identified as Thomas, allegedly reversed into an officer's marked unit and fled the scene. Charges against Thomas include aggravated criminal damage to property, resisting an officer, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Thomas, who accumulated 8.2 million followers and over 550 million likes on TikTok, is being sought by law enforcement. The circumstances surrounding Abraham's tragic death were characterized as a "very physical, very violent death" by officials in Tangipahoa Parish, where Abraham passed away from blunt force trauma to the head, neck, and shoulders.
The discovery of Abraham's body was made by a passerby on Sunday morning, leading investigators to suspect that the crime took place on Saturday evening before the body was dumped. Despite searching Abraham's residence in Baton Rouge, no evidence of a crime was found. Abraham, a well-known therapist and former Catholic priest in the Baton Rouge area, had appeared on cable television as a mental health expert.
Jarrett Ambeau, Abraham's attorney, expressed shock and devastation over the brutal nature of his client's death, describing Abraham as tender, gentle, and a person with a servant's heart. Authorities are appealing to the public for any information that may assist in locating Terryon Ishmael Thomas.
